With the Airport Services now resumed at Vanuatu’s Bauerfield Airport in Port Vila, plans are now proceeding increase it’s accessibility by improving the present services. With the new services the Port Vila’s Bauerfield Airport will be able to accommodate Boeing 787 Dreamliners.
The upgrade of the airport was estimated to cost nearly $30 million by the World bank but airport experts reportedly told the government that the present 2600-metre long runway is adequate to serve the requirement for even larger jets.
